Rev. G. Lee Cole, Jr. joined Pelzer United Methodist Church as Pastor in 2015. Lee was born and raised in Williamston, and he has deep roots in the Williamston / Pelzer / West Pelzer community.
In addition to leading Pelzer United Methodist Church, Lee works a "day job" as a local attorney. While Lee was in law school, he began to feel God's call to ministry. Most recently, Lee served in a variety of leadership positions at Grace United Methodist Church in Williamston.
Lee married the former Mary Frances Dassel in June 2015. Mary Frances is originally from Spartanburg, and she is an attorney and Magistrate Judge. They reside in Williamston where they are involved in many community activities and organizations.
